While flying to Havana, Charles Lindbergh wrote his speech on both sides of his Caribbean chart. Despite the plane’s instability, he could fly and write clearly at the same time.

Can you do two things at once? Charles Lindbergh could. By holding the control stick steady with one hand, he sometimes wrote with the other. He wrote notes on this flight chart while flying over the Caribbean. Look for this highlighted quote below.
