Robert Goddard - Development of High Altitude Rockets

Dr. Robbert H. Godddard was among the few people who independently discovered the rocket as the key to space before World War I and worked out all the equations. He created the world's first flying, liquid-fuel rocket and made many other pioneering contributions to rocket technology. This video includes sounding rocket experiments conducted by Goddard in the New Mexico desert in the 1930s.
