The loss of the Boston left only the Chicago and New Orleans to complete the journey around the world.

Description: 

Forced down at sea en route to Iceland, Leigh Wade and Henry Ogden awaited rescue in the Boston for four hours. As sailors on board the USS Richmond tried to lift the Boston to safety, the ship and airplane collided. Wade reluctantly ordered the severely damaged Boston to be sunk.
